TikTok's official Creator Rewards announcement explains how qualified views and RPM are used to calculate rewards.
Creator Rewards is a view-based program, not a flat payment for every TikTok play. For eligible videos, TikTok calculates rewards from qualified views and RPM. This calculator first estimates qualified views from your total reach, then applies your selected RPM. It does not treat every raw view as paid.
RPM is the revenue a creator receives per 1,000 qualified views. CPM is generally the amount an advertiser pays for 1,000 impressions. They are different metrics, so advertiser CPM should not be used as a Creator Rewards payout estimate.
Short videos, ineligible content, and views that do not qualify will lower the payout compared with total views.
Where viewers are located and the value TikTok assigns to the content can affect the RPM attached to qualified views.
TikTok's rewards formula considers factors such as originality, play duration, search value, and audience engagement.

TikTok does not publish one fixed rate per 1,000 views. Your own Creator Rewards dashboard is the best reference. This calculator includes editable $0.40, $0.70, and $1.00 example scenarios, but you can enter any RPM.
Multiply qualified views by your RPM, then divide by 1,000. For example, 1 million qualified views at a $0.70 RPM equals $700. If only part of the raw views qualifies, the estimate is lower.
