How to write a pitch email brands reply to

A good brand pitch email is short (under 150 words), names the brand in the subject line, says why you chose this brand specifically, proposes one concrete content idea, backs it up with a few real numbers, and ends with one easy question. Link your media kit instead of attaching files, and don't put your rates in the first email.

  1. 01

    Show you know the brand

Open with a product you actually use or a recent campaign you liked. One specific sentence beats a paragraph of compliments.

  2. 02

    Propose one clear idea

Name the format, the deliverables and why it fits their audience. A marketer should be able to picture the post in five seconds.

  3. 03

Back it up and make replying easy

Add 2-3 real numbers, link your media kit, and end with a yes-or-no question. Follow up once after about a week.

Subject: Re: Collaboration idea for [Brand]

Hi [Brand] team,

I wanted to follow up on my note from last week, in case it got buried.

Quick recap: I'd love to create a sponsored [platform] post featuring [Brand] for my [your niche] audience.

Is this something you'd consider? A simple yes or no works, and I'm happy to adapt the idea to your current campaign.

UGC pitch

Subject: UGC videos for [Brand]'s ads

Hi [Brand] team,

I'm [Your name], a [your niche] creator on [platform]. My audience: [X] followers, [X]% average engagement, [main audience]. I'm reaching out because [a specific product you use or campaign you liked].

I create short, ad-ready UGC videos that brands run on TikTok, Instagram and Meta ads.

For [Brand], I'd suggest a pack of 3 vertical videos, each opening with a different hook, delivered with raw footage so your team can test what converts.

I've recently partnered with [2 brands you've worked with].

Can I send over a few sample videos and my rates?

What makes a pitch get a reply

  • Keep the body under 150 words. Brand managers skim on their phones.
  • Put the brand name in the subject line so it doesn't read like a mass email.
  • Send it to a named person on the partnerships or influencer team, not a generic inbox, when you can.
  • Use only numbers you can back up with screenshots or your media kit.
  • Link your media kit instead of attaching a PDF. Attachments often land in spam.
  • Save pricing for the second email, once the brand has said they're interested.
  • Follow up once or twice, about a week apart, then move on.

Brand pitch email FAQ

What should I include in a brand pitch email?

Include a clear subject line with the brand name, a one-line introduction with your niche and platform, a specific reason you chose this brand, one concrete content idea, two or three real stats such as followers or engagement rate, a link to your media kit, and a single question as your call to action.

How long should a pitch email to a brand be?

Aim for under 150 words. Most brand marketers read pitches on their phones, so short paragraphs and one clear ask get more replies than a long email listing everything you've done.

Can small creators pitch brands?

Yes. Many brands work with micro and nano creators because their audiences are more engaged and their rates are lower. Lead with your niche, your engagement rate and a strong content idea rather than your follower count.

Should I include my rates in the first email?

Usually not. Start the conversation with your idea and your audience fit. Share your rates or rate card once the brand replies and asks about budget or deliverables.

How often should I follow up on a brand pitch?

Follow up once about 5-7 days after your first email, and optionally a second time a week later. Keep follow-ups to two or three sentences and make it easy to say yes or no.

Is this pitch email generator free?

Yes. The brand pitch email generator is free and doesn't require an account. Always read and edit the email before sending, and add at least one detail that only you would know about the brand.
