What is an influencer rate card?

An influencer rate card is a one-page price list that shows brands what you charge for each type of sponsored content, such as an Instagram Reel, a TikTok video or a YouTube integration. A good rate card also lists your audience stats, package deals, usage rights and how to book you, so a brand can decide quickly without a long email exchange.

Your rate card answers "how much does it cost?". Your media kit answers "why should we work with you?". With CreatorsJet, both live on the same link.

What to include in your rate card

  • Your audience at a glance

Followers, average views and engagement rate for each platform.

  • Prices per deliverable

One line per format: Instagram post, Reel, Story set, TikTok video, YouTube integration or dedicated video, UGC video.

  • Packages

Bundles such as 1 Reel + 3 Stories, or a monthly ambassador package, usually at a small discount.

  • Usage rights

What it costs for the brand to reuse your content in ads or on its own channels, priced by length of time.

  • Exclusivity

A fee for not working with competing brands for a set period.

  • Terms

Turnaround time, number of revisions, payment terms and how to contact you.

Use these ranges as a starting point for your own rate card. They come from the same formulas as our free pricing calculators. Higher engagement, a valuable niche or extra usage rights justify higher prices.

How to price usage rights, exclusivity and other add-ons

Add-ons are where most creators undercharge. List them on your rate card as separate lines, so brands see that your base rate only covers organic posting.

Add-onTypical priceHow to quote it
Paid ad usage (whitelisting, Spark Ads)+30% of the content fee per monthPrice per month and per channel, for example 3 months on Meta and TikTok ads.
Organic reposting by the brand+20-30% of the content feeInclude the channels and how long the brand can keep the post up.
Category exclusivity+25-50% for 30 days, +50-100% for 90 daysName the competing category and the exact period. Longer exclusivity costs more.
Perpetual usage rightsAt least 2x the content feePrefer a fixed term. If the brand needs perpetual rights, price them as a premium.
Raw footage+50% of the content feeCharge separately when the brand wants unedited clips to cut its own ads.
Rush delivery (under 72 hours)+25-50% of the content feeSet your standard turnaround on the rate card, then add a fee for faster delivery.

How to make a rate card in 3 steps

  1. 01

    Add your social profile

Paste your Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or X profile link. Your stats are pulled in automatically, so you don't have to type numbers by hand.

  2. 02

    Pick a template

Choose a cover and color that match your brand. Every template is mobile-friendly and looks good as a link or a PDF.

  3. 03

    Add your rates and share

List your prices per deliverable, add packages, then send one link in your pitch emails or your bio.

Rate card tips that help you get paid more

  • Price per deliverable, not per follower. Brands compare formats, not audience size alone.
  • Show ranges or "starting at" prices to leave room for negotiation.
  • Charge usage rights separately. Ad usage is often worth 20-50% on top of your base rate.
  • Offer one or two packages. Bundles make it easier for brands to say yes.
  • Update your rates every 3-6 months, or whenever your audience grows significantly.
  • Send your rate card after a brand shows interest, not in your very first email.

Rate card FAQ

What is a rate card for influencers?

A rate card is a document that lists what an influencer or content creator charges for each type of sponsored content, along with audience stats, packages, usage rights and booking terms. Brands use it to budget a collaboration quickly.

Is this rate card generator free?

Yes. You can create your rate card with a free CreatorsJet account. Add your social profile, pick a template, add your prices and share your rate card as a link or PDF.

How much should I charge as an influencer?

It depends on your platform, format, engagement and niche. As a rough guide, Instagram creators with 10,000 to 50,000 followers often charge a few hundred dollars per post, while creators with 100,000 followers or more charge in the thousands. Use the example table above or our free pricing calculators to estimate your own rates.

How much should I charge for usage rights?

A common starting point is 30% of your content fee for each month a brand runs your content as paid ads, and 20-30% for organic reposting on its channels. Charge more for longer terms and several channels, and avoid perpetual rights or price them at least at 2x your content fee.

Should I put my prices on my rate card or keep them private?

Most creators share prices only with brands that are interested. A rate card link lets you send exact prices when it makes sense, and you can mark some formats as "price on request" if you prefer to negotiate.

What's the difference between a rate card and a media kit?

A media kit presents who you are, your audience and your past work. A rate card focuses on pricing. Many creators combine both on one page so brands get the full picture in one link.

Can I make a rate card for TikTok and YouTube too?

Yes. You can add Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X to the same rate card and list separate prices for each platform and format.
